Foundations New Media: Identity Poster
Identity has been a central theme in art since the earliest cave drawings of Lascaux. Through countless formats
and in innumerable ways, artists have tried to tackle some version of the question: “Who am I?” Using images and
minimal text, each student was responsible for creating a poster that explores their own personal identity
in terms of social constructs of race, class, gender, and sexuality.
